Ava Wildrose is the founder of The Alchemical Rootâ„¢ School & Apothecary and creator of The Life Alchemy Methodâ„¢, a proprietary methodology that brings structure to her interdisciplinary approach to transformation.

At the heart of her work is the belief that healing is not about becoming someone entirely new.

It is about remembering who you are.

Ava’s path to this work has never belonged to a single discipline. Her background spans clinical and biological science, exercise science and human performance, movement and embodiment, herbalism, nervous-system-oriented wellness, intuitive practice, and holistic approaches to personal transformation.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Texas State University–San Marcos and a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health Professions, with a concentration in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention, from California University of Pennsylvania.

Her early professional background included work as a licensed Medical Technologist, grounding her in human biology, laboratory medicine, and conventional healthcare.

Ava’s professional background includes personal training, strength and conditioning coaching, dance, fitness, and wellness education. She is also an NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).

Over time, however, her questions became larger than physiology alone.

What happens when we understand the mechanics of the body but have lost relationship with it?

What does it mean to support a nervous system rather than continually override it?

How do our relationships, identities, patterns, nourishment, intuition, and environments shape the way we experience our lives?

And what becomes possible when science, embodiment, nature, and meaning are allowed to speak to one another?

Those questions became part of the roots of Life Alchemy.

Today, Ava’s work brings together her formal scientific education, professional practice, continuing study, and lived experience across multiple dimensions of wellbeing and transformation. She is currently studying clinical herbalism through Heart of Herbs while continuing her education in somatic and trauma-informed wellness, nervous-system support, embodied practice, behavioral change, and integrative approaches to transformation.

Her relationship with plants is part of a wider understanding of nature as medicine, mirror, and teacher. Herbalism at The Alchemical Root exists alongside—not in opposition to—an appreciation for science, the intelligence of the body, and informed personal choice.

Ava also brings a long relationship with dance, intuitive guidance, Tarot and Oracle, spiritual reflection, and embodied self-expression into her work. Rather than treating these disciplines as interchangeable, she allows each to offer its own lens through which a woman might better understand herself.

From this interdisciplinary foundation, Ava created The Life Alchemy Method, a multidimensional methodology organized through five interconnected pillars:

Sovereign Mindset & Identity
Relational Alchemy
Somatic Vitality
Nourishment as Medicine
Soul-Centered Integration

At the heart of all five is the same invitation: to become more deeply connected to your own body, voice, sovereignty, discernment, relationships, needs, values, and inner authority.

That philosophy became The Alchemical Root School & Apothecary—a home for herbal education, remedies, embodied practices, Life Alchemy teachings, and transformational experiences designed to support women in returning to themselves.

Ava does not believe another person, practitioner, teacher, or system should become the source of a woman’s power.

Her role is to educate.
To guide.
To ask meaningful questions.
To offer tools, practices, and fresh perspectives.
To create space for deeper relationship with the self.

Because the deepest work of Life Alchemy is not about learning how to become someone else.

It is about remembering the woman who has been there all along.
